Greystones is a coastal town South of Dublin in County Wicklow. The town is near the Irish Sea to the east, Bray Head to the north, and the Wicklow Mountains to the west. In 2008, this town was named ‘the world’s most liveable community’ at the LivCom Awards.

Greystones has so much to offer,  from cafes, restaurants and pubs. Cafe shops to enjoy around the area are The Happy Pear, Costa Coffee, Pebbles Cafe, and Cafe Grey. There are restaurants, such as  Vino’s Restaurant & Cafe, The Hungry Monk, Chakra by Jaipur, Bochellis, Indian Spice and pubs like the Burnaby and The Horse & Hound in Delgany.

The local shopping centre is Meridian Point which hosts Donnybrook Fair.

There are also a Tesco, Lidl, Aldi and SuperValu in the area.

Greystones can be accessed by the N11 Dublin-Wexford road. It also has a local DART station that connects with thirty stations along Dublin’s east coast and Ianród Éierann, Commuter and InterCity trains that link Greystones to Wicklow, Arklow, Gorey, Wexford and Rosslare Europort on the south and to Connolly Station on the north. The town is also served by Dublin Bus routes: 84, 184 and 84x.

Schools and Colleges
There are various schools in the area: St. Kevin’s National School, St. Brigid’s National School, St. Laurence’s National School, St. Patrick’s National School, Greystones Educate Together National School, Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, Temple Carrig School and St. David’s Holy Faith Secondary School.

In addition to the Beach, there is also the local Greystones Golf Club, Greystones RFC and the Shoreline Leisure which offers a swimming pool, skate park, football and basketball courts and a playground.

Cultural Amenities
The famous Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk that follows the route of the railway line around Bray Head. It is a scenic 6 kilometre walk that takes about two hours to complete following beautiful views of the cliffs and sea. The Boatyard Gallery for jewelry, and the Greystones Art Gallery.
